ABILENE, Texas — Texas Rangers fans will be able to see players from the World Series championship team, as well as past players and staff, this month in Abilene.
Team members, past and present, are traveling the state for the 2024 Winter Caravan which kicks off Monday, Jan. 9, in Dallas. The caravan stops in the Big Country Jan. 31 at Lithia Toyota of Abilene, 4449 Southwest Drive.
Outfielder J.P. Martinez, No. 50, is on the schedule for Abilene with other appearances to be announced. Martinez went to the World Series with the Texas Rangers in his first season in Major League Baseball.
Fans will be able to see the World Series Champions' trophy and get autographs from players, alumni, coaches and broadcasters. The event is free and open to the public.
Autographs are to the first 225 people in line with no one allowed to hold spots in line for anyone who are not at the event. Fans can have one item per person, per player signed and the team says personalization won't be allowed with the autographs. Posed photos will not be allowed at the caravan stop.
