One person was transported to the hospital Tuesday after an aerial pen flare ignited in an Eastland Goodwill store.
Danielle Robertson, director of communications and marketing for Goodwill West Texas, said a device that looked like a pen was outfitted to emit a flare and ignited. The person involved was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, out of an abundance of caution, Robertson said.
"A gun was not discharged at our Eastland store," she said.
