SHACKELFORD COUNTY, Texas — An Albany resident was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on US Hwy 283.
A preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety said Robin Detrick Morrison, 51, of Albany, was driving an SUV northbound on US 283 and drove left into the wrong side of the roadway.
Morrison overcorrected, steered the SUV back toward the proper lane, lost control and went into a side skid. The SUV left the roadway and overturned, ejecting Morrison. The report states Morrison was not wearing a seatbelt.
