ROSCOE, Texas — The Lumberyard, a popular live music venue and restaurant in Roscoe, caught fire early Friday morning and looks to be "a total loss," according to the Roscoe Volunteer Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Crews are currently mopping up the scene and awaiting fire investigators.
The venue, located at 7 Cypress St., had a seating capacity of 900 and was described as "on its way to becoming the Gruene Hall of West Texas" on live music website reverbnation.com.
