SAN ANGELO, Texas — Wall Volunteer Fire Department is one of the many crews of volunteers in our area that are the first line of defense when the blazes hit. Thankfully, the Concho Valley hasn’t received the same drought and drought effects that other Texans are experiencing, but leadership says the reason for that is the little leftover moisture that’s still in grass and other plants in the county. The winter could be rougher than the summer.
