SAN ANGELO, Texas — San Angelo's Emergency Management Coordinator Jose Rivera said the high temperatures and strong winds increase the risk of fires in the area.
The ban also does not prohibit grilling.
Burn ban in effect for Tom Green County
The ban took effect at 9 a.m. Tuesday. It does not prohibit the purchase of fireworks.
