SAN ANGELO, Texas — It has been 18 years since Chris Cardenas put together the Concho Valley Summer League as an outlet for the youth of West Texas to better their craft on the court. He could not be happier to see it grow over the past decade and change.

Chris Cardenas put the basketball league together 18 years ago. As of Monday, over 120 teams have signed up to play in 2024.
