SAN ANGELO, Texas — As FOX West Texas reported Monday, July 9, a fire erupted at an Abilene apartment complex at about three in the morning.
The fire resulted in heavy damages and the displacement of Spanish Arms residents along with 8 veterans.
One Abilene organization has started a donation drive for the veterans and others who lost their homes.
Coordinators for the organization say residents are not without a home but are in need of household appliances.
