Parts of West Texas were rocked by an earthquake Monday, July 22, at around 10:38 pm. The earthquake’s epicenter was in Scurry County, near Hermleigh, Texas, registering at a 4.9 on the Richter scale. However, residents of Tom Green and Taylor counties also felt the aftereffects.
