EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas — An Eastland woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Eastland County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a crash report that Keven Lee Howton, 29, of Strawn, was driving an SUV south on Farm-to-Market 2214 Monday morning. Around milepost 477, Howton drove his vehicle left of the center stripe in a no passing zone and struck a sedan traveling north on FM 2214.
The sedan was being driven by Donald Ray Lucas, 74, of Eastland, who was injured in the crash. His passenger, Brenda Lynn Lucas, 65, was taken to Eastland Memorial Hospital for treatment. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
