Eight arrested in joint warrant roundup

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — Eight people were arrested this week as part of a joint warrant roundup between the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Attorney General's Office.

The sheriff's office said the roundup focused on felony arrest warrants and parole warrants and added the arrests highlight law enforcement efforts to keep the community safe.

Warrants included offenses such as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, online solicitation of a minor/sexual conduct, motion to revoke - robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

The eight arrested were Curtis Moore, Antonio Ortega, David Saldivar, Arturo Aguilera III, Manual Alvarez Jr., Manuel Martinez, Eloy Fuentes-Zamarripa and Noah Carson.
