TEXAS, USA — UPDATE (11 p.m. March 5): In the fifth report from the Tom Green County Elections Office, Drew Darby continued to hold a 61% to 39% percent lead over challenger Stormy Bradley.
These results are unofficial until final numbers are canvassed by the Tom Green County Commissioners Court.
UPDATE (10:30 p.m. March 5): The Tom Green County Elections Office released a third update including absentee, early and partial Election Day voting results at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday.
In that report, incumbent Drew Darby led challenger Stormy Bradley 61.55%-38.45%.
ORIGINAL STORY (10 p.m. March 5): As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, incumbent State Representative Drew Darby, Dist. 72, held a 16-point lead over challenger Stormy Bradley.
With 89% of precincts reporting, Darby held 58% to Bradley's 42%.
At one point early in the evening, as early and absentee voting was coming in, the two candidates were even.
