SAN ANGELO, Texas — Grape Creek VFD Fire Chief Jose Rivera said unsupervised children cause most of the fires his department responds to during the holiday.
He and Angelo Fireworks owner Stephen Hicks said to keep a water supply close. Hicks also said to take extra precautions to make sure mortars and rockets are pointed away from people.
