SAN ANGELO, Texas — The barrels are part of a new initiative by the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank and San Angelo ISD called the Friday Night Food Drive. As you walk into San Angelo Stadium, you have the opportunity to drop in canned goods or shelf-stable items. You can also make a monetary donation, which goes to support the Snack Pack program, which students can take home over the weekend. A representative for the Food Bank says for two things that have been a big part of the Concho Valley for many years, football and the food bank, it’s a perfect match.
