UPDATE: Fourth man arrested by TGC Sheriff's Office for role in organized theft ring

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — UPDATE (3 p.m. Thursday): A man allegedly involved in an organized Concho Valley crime ring was arrested in a south San Angelo neighborhood Wednesday.

At just after 10 p.m. Wednesday, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the San Angelo Police Department executed a warrant arrest in the 5000 block of Fairway Drive.

The wanted subject, Frankie O'Dell Wright III, was captured after a short foot pursuit through the surrounding neighborhood. Frankie Wright was the last outstanding wanted subject from an organized crime ring that has recently been operating within the Concho Valley.

Wright was found to be in possession of a firearm during the arrest. Evading arrest and unlawful possession of firearm by a felon were added to charges from previous his warrants, theft of property and  a parole violation.

ORIGINAL STORY: Three men have been arrested in connection to an organized theft ring, and the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is looking for a fourth man.

Frankie O'Dell Wright III (pictured above), 35, of San Angelo and is wanted for for theft of property, more than $30,000 less than $150,000.  Wright has multiple prior arrests including aggravated assault, forgery, evading arrest and possession of controlled substance offenses.

The TGCSO said on or about Oct. 31, 2023, the theft ring started operating in Tom Green and surrounding counties. Reports of stolen tractors, ATVs, skid-steers, motorcycles, trailers and other equipment were received by the sheriff's office in the following weeks.

Investigation along with a Dec. 13, 2023, press release requesting information from the public resulted in the identification and arrest of three of four suspects involved in the ring.

So far, the sheriff's office's investigation has resulted in the recovery of several tractors, trailers and vehicles. Investigators have also seized firearms, drugs and stolen equipment from several surrounding counties.

The three suspects who have already been arrested are:

Trevor Allbright, 36, of San Angelo arrested Jan. 4, 2024, for theft of property, more than $30,000 less than $150,000. Allbright is currently in the Taylor County Detention Center for seven charges including burglary of a building, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance and several motions to revoke probation warrants.

Gabriel Wilkins, 38, of San Angelo was arrested Jan. 9 2024, for theft of property, more than $30,000 less than $150,000, manufacture/deliver controlled substance Penalty Group 1>=200g<400G; and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and parole violation. Wilkins remains in the Tom Green County Detention Center.

Devin Isaac Stiers, 27, of San Angelo was arrested Jan. 11, 2024, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and is currently out on bond.
