SAN ANGELO, Texas — This is Learning Undefeated’s Mobile STEM Lab, which travels all over Texas. Focusing on science, technology, engineering and math, LU staff says the mission is clear.
“To basically bridge that gender and equity gap in STEM. And so, we’re going around on our mobile lab, and sparking interest in for students from kindergarten all the way up," Desurae Matthews said.
Bridging a gap was also today’s task. Students built a bridge for a wagon to cross. After a successful crossing with no load, weight was added, putting more stress on the bridge.
