GRAPEVINE, Texas — One-hundred-twenty Howard Payne University alumni attended the university's third annual North Texas Alumni Golf Tournament Monday, June 17, at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine.
Alumni and friends had an opportunity to network and connect with each other while raising money for student scholarships at the event presented by the HPU Former Players Association.
The first-place team included Kevin Crawford, Kolton Crawford, Dr. Dale Meinecke and Jeff Mitchell. Second-place honors went to Ernest Day, Bob Knoll, Matt Day and Rudy Moreno. In third place was the team of Jordan Dial, Michael Holmberg, Steve Shaffer and Robert Rich.
Randy Lewallyn, a 1997 HPU graduate, chaired the event.
