SAN ANGELO, Texas — At about 10:38 a.m. on Sunday, the Junction Police Department responded to armed robbery at a Pilot gas station in Junction, Texas. J-P-D officers were able to get a description of the vehicle, a white 18-wheeler. Kendal County Sheriff’s deputies located a truck matching the description, which came back stolen. Deputies attempted to conduct traffic stop, but when the truck refused to stop, spikes were used, which took out the vehicle’s front tires. The 18-wheeler came to a stop outside Boerne, TX, hitting a storage facility, causing damage to several storage units. The driver was the arrested and charged with failure to stop, evading and theft of the vehicle. According to the Junction Police chief, the subject is in custody in Kerr County and the investigation is still ongoing.
