RUNNELS COUNTY, Texas — A 29-year-old Lubbock man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Runnels County. The crash occurred on US Hwy 83, five miles north of Ballinger.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Nathan Perry, 36, of Silverton, was traveling north on US 83, while a 2013 Toyota Rav 4, driven by Josephine Nash, 20, of New Braunfels, was reveling south.
The report said the Suburban veered into the southbound lane and struck the Rav 4.
Brandon Blake Johnson, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Perry and Nash were transported to Ballinger Memorial Hospital with stable/incapacitating injuries, according to the report.
