SAN ANGELO, Texas — A San Angelo man died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on US Hwy 277 and Ratliff Road.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Dale Winey, 70, was traveling south on US 277 in a pickup and failed to drive in a single lane for unknown reasons. The pickup crossed the center line, entering the northbound lane before striking a pole.
Winey was pronounced dead at the scene.
