BROWN COUNTY, Texas — A San Angelo man died Sunday afternoon when he was thrown from his motorcycle.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a preliminary crash report Joseph Raymond Ogle, 48, of San Angelo was traveling south on CR 105, approaching a sharp curve in the roadway when he applied the rear brake, causing his rear wheel to skid.
Ogle lost control of the motorcycle, laying it over on its left side. He was vaulted off the motorcycle, causing fatal injuries, DPS said.
Justice of the Peace Lee Haney pronounced Ogle dead at the scene at 2:33 p.m. Sunday.
