SAN ANGELO, Texas — A motorcycle rider involved in a May 5 crash in north Abilene has died from injuries received in the crash.
The Abilene Police Department said Daniel Randolph, 72, of Abilene died in a local hospital Thursday, May 12, a week after the crash.
The crash occurred the morning of Thursday, May 5, at at the intersection of North 3rd and North Willis streets, according to the APD. A sedan and the motorcycle Randolph was riding were both traveling north on Willis.
The sedan entered the turning lane to turn west, and collided with the motorcycle. Randolph was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
No citations have been issued and the investigation is ongoing, the APD said.
