TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — A Colorado man died Tuesday when he rear-ended a semi-truck trailer while riding his motorcycle on US Hwy 87S and Brodnax Lane, just outside San Angelo.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says Nicholas Denmar Johnson, 45, of Aurora, Colorado, was traveling north on US 87 near Brodnax Lane behind a semi-truck, driven by Olegario Valdez, 58, of San Angelo.
Valdez slowed down to turn onto Brodnax Lane and Johnson hit the attached trailer.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Susan Werner. Valdez was not injured in the crash.
