SAN ANGELO, Texas — The new playground is the result of a collaboration with the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Center of the Concho Valley and the city of San Angelo. ADACCV received a grant from the Texas Health and Human Services to fund the project. The funds received for the project are meant to help reduce stress and anxiety caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Speakers at the ribbon cutting included city officials, like city council members, as well as ADACCV representatives.

City officials held a ribbon cutting, officially opening the new playground at Mountainview Park.
