ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Fire Department crews extinguished a fire in the 1500 block of North 19th Street Thursday afternoon.
An AFD press release said at approximately 2:40 p.m. Thursday, crews responded to a structure fire in the 1500 block of North 19th Street.
Fire crews found smoke and flames showing from a single-story home on the exterior of the back of the residence. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished.
There was moderate exterior damage to the structure. No injuries to occupants or AFD crews were reported.
Damages are estimated at $10,000.
