ABILENE, Texas — At least one person was taken to the hospital by ambulance after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Butternut and South 7th streets Wednesday afternoon. The crash happened at approximately 1:25 p.m.
The Abilene Police Department said one of the vehicles involved was a Taylor County vehicle. The other two vehicles were a sedan and an SUV.
One person was entrapped but was extricated, the APD said. Injuries were unknown at the time of the statement from the APD.
Additionally, the department did not yet know if any citations were issued and said no other information was available as officers are still working the crash.
