PAINT ROCK, Texas — Paint Rock Independent School District announced its decision to cancel games Friday "in an effort to be abundantly safe."
The district said the decision was made after it was informed of a threat originating from a neighboring county and said it is actively coordinating with law enforcement agencies.
Threats to schools have made their rounds across the state in the past week.
