TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office announced Monday the promotion of William "Bill" Kirkland to patrol sergeant.
According to a press release from the TGCSO, Kirkland has been with the department since 2019, after serving 11 years with the Arapahoe County and Lake County sheriff's offices.
Kirkland competed against several applicants in the promotion process, according to the release.
He will command the Delta shift.
