LAS VEGAS — Regina Stock, the West Texan mother who won Mrs. America last August, participated in the Mrs. World competition in Las Vegas last week.
Out of all the participants, Stock finished in the Top 6 of the entire competition along with United Kingdom, Canada, Colombia, Malaysia and Germany, according to the competition's social media.
In the end, Mrs. Germany Julia Carolin won first place. Mrs. Canada got second and Mrs. Colombia got third.
Regina posted to social media the day before the finals:
"'Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside of you that is greater than any obstacle.' Tomorrow is THE day. Finals for Mrs. World have finally arrived. The way so many things had to perfectly fall into place in the last 9 months for me to be here is truly unbelievable. To be representing the nation on an international stage is a dream come true. Whatever the outcome may be, I am honored to have had this opportunity. I am humbled by all of your kind words and support. I hope to make you all proud! ❤️"
The West Texan graduated from Odessa High School and currently lives in Midland with her husband and four kids.
Stock was diagnosed with kidney cancer in October before announcing she was cancer-free in November, two months before the competition.
