SAN ANGELO, Texas — A high-speed rollover crash on Knickerbocker Road late Friday afternoon led police to an arrest but no major injuries.
The collision happened at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Twin Mountain Drive when a red Toyota sedan ran the red light and hit a white Ford pickup truck, causing the sedan to roll multiple times.
According to San Angelo Police Department Officer Lee Kvittem, the driver of the Toyota did not sustain major injuries in the crash and was uncooperative with officers who arrived on scene and arrested for reckless driving. The man also received citations for failure to control speed and disregarding a red light. The crash is still under investigation and additional charges are pending.
The driver of the Ford pickup was uninjured.
