SAN ANGELO, Texas — The district says the goal is to pay staff more and upgrade security measures. Proposition A is headed for the November 5th ballot. Prop A asks voters to approve a tax rate adopted by the Board of Trustees. According to the proposition, the current tax rate will not increase for homeowners in the district. The proposal will generate $2 million from taxpayers and over $4 million from the state.
