Salvation Army hurricane relief and preparation

As Hurrricane Milton barrels toward the southeastern U.S., the region is still healing from Hurricane Helene. One non-profit has stepped up.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Hurricane Milton is a day away from making landfall, but that doesn’t stop the Salvation Army. Across the southeast, the Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services has delivered over 194,000 meals to those in need. Leadership at San Angelo’s Salvation Army says they're proud the San Angelo post was able to help financially with those efforts. They also say efforts to aid those in the path of Hurricane Milton have already begun. San Angelo’s Salvation Army personnel has been placed on standby and the mobile canteen is stocked and ready to go.
