TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — A 20-year-old San Angelo man was killed late Saturday after he lost control of his motorcycle on Loop 306 E.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says Matthew Hansen was traveling at a high rate of speed on the loop, lost control of his motorcycle, ran off the road into the median and was thrown from the motorcycle. A preliminary crash report states Hansen was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Stacye Speck.
