San Angelo Nature Center is holding a contest to name its new snake

The contest winner will receive a family pass that is good for one year of free admission to the center.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Nature Center has a new snake, a male albino Burmese python and it is asking the public to help name him.

The center said the snake is somewhere between 5-7 years old and weighs 65 pounds.

The person whose name is selected will receive a free family pass to the San Angelo Nature Center, which includes a year of free admission for themselves and their immediate family and two general admission passes.

Name ideas should be submitted at cosatx.us/naturecenter.
