San Angelo PD, DEA seize five pounds of meth in trafficking investigation

The methamphetamine was seized and a 38-year-old San Angelo resident was identified as a suspect in the case, according to police.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division and the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted an investigation in relation to the trafficking of methamphetamine in San Angelo on March 31.

The investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed at a home in the 300 block of East 6th Street. According to an SAPD press release, the search warrant yielded approximately five pounds of methamphetamine and other information that identified a 38-year-old San Angelo resident as a suspect in the case.

The contraband was seized and charges are pending at this time, the release said.

The SAPD’s K-9, Anti-Crime and Gang units and Intelligence Division participated in the investigation.
