San Angelo PD investigating weekend stabbing

SAN ANGELO, Texas — At just after 9 p.m. Saturday, San Angelo Police Department officers responded to the 2800 block of Field Street after an unknown problem was reported in the alleyway involving a black passenger car.

When officers arrived, they located the vehicle matching the description two blocks away and encountered three men with various injuries.

One of the men had sustained a stab wound and was later transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was kept overnight for observation.

According to an SAPD press release, another male refused medical treatment at the scene, while the third was treated and later released from an area hospital.

The San Angelo Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division was contacted and a detective responded to the scene to investigate. Initial interviews revealed conflicting accounts from the individuals involved, leaving it unclear whether they are suspects or victims in this case.

The investigation is still ongoing and police officials encourage anyone with knowledge of this incident to contact Concho Valley Crime Stoppers at 325-658-HELP (4357) to remain anonymous. Any information leading to the arrest of responsible parties will result in a reward when reported through Crime Stoppers.
