SAN ANGELO, Texas — San Angelo Police Department officers responding to a call about an unconscious person found a woman dead in the 400 block of Veterans Memorial Drive Friday morning.
According to an SAPD news release, officers were dispatched to 440 Veterans Memorial Drive around 8:55 a.m. Friday, in reference to an unconscious person inside a public restroom.
Officers found an unconscious 33-year-old woman, and attempted CPR on the her until paramedics could arrive, according to the release.
Ultimately, it was determined the woman was dead and officers at the scene contacted the department's Criminal Investigation Division to help with the investigation.
CID saw no signs of criminal activity that would indicate foul play.
The woman's next-of-kin and the justice of the peace were notified at the conclusion of the investigation. Police did not release the name of the woman.
