TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas — A 40-year-old San Angelo woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash early Dec. 20, on US 277, 6.5 miles northwest of Wingate.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Chrishilda Gonzales, 40, of San Angelo, was traveling south on US 277 when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve. The vehicle then veered off the roadway to the left and rolled several times, ejecting the driver.
Gonzales' 12-year-old passenger was transported to Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo with unknown injuries. Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by DPS.
