38 Angelo State students inducted into Alpha Chi national collegiate honor society

Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are able to be considered for this honors organization.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Thirty-eight Angelo State University students were recently given a new reason to celebrate as they were inducted into the university's chapter of Alpha Chi, a national college-level honor society. 

To be considered for acceptance, seniors must be in the top 10% of their classes while juniors must be in the top 7.5% for their respective college and/or university. 

ASU's recipients are from a number of different places from San Angelo to South Korea. 

San Angelo inductees include mechanical engineer major Ricardo Antunez, exercise science major Emily Baldwin, biology major Alexandra Castanuela, nursing major Aubrie Crawford, biology major Breana Hamblen, biology major Makenna Houser, accounting major Janelle Hudson, management information systems major Christopher Jareo, exercise science major Ezekielle Faith Matias, accounting major Jaina McKenzie, nursing major Kassadee Rodriguez, mechanical engineering major Lucas Rojas, and computer science major Logan Wongbangchuad.

Organizational psychology and human resources major Leigh Williams is from Abilene,  intelligence and analysis major Zoey Patton is from Aurora, Colorado, mechanical engineering major Mason Cave is from Ballinger, health science professions Logan Bishop is from Bangs, animal science major Hope Harrington is from Burleson, kinesiology major Madison Honea is from Copperas Cove, accounting major Itzel Camarena and exercise science major Tatum Koehler are from Del Rio, biology major Melissa Soto is from Denver City, computer science and criminal justice majors Robert Burnett and Julissa Sanchez are from Fredericksburg, animal science majors Erin Nix and Jenna Barry are from Gail and Georgetown. 

Additionally, biology major Emory Brandon is from Hondo, accounting major Kylee Sollis is from Idalou, food animal science and marketing major Kristin Mueller is from Jourdanton, biology major Jude Cook, teacher education major Allegra Cushman and health science professions major Madeline Stephens are from Lubbock, mechanical engineer major Brennyn Barnhill is from Midland, english major Miriam Guevara is from Ridgecrest, management major Mia Kilman is from San Saba, studio art major Hope Martin is from Taylor Mill, Kentucky, international business major Tatiana Alvarez is drom Santander, Colombia and mathematic major Yejun Na is from Daejon, South Korea.
