SAN ANGELO, Texas — A Tony Award-winning Broadway production is making its way to the Be Theatre stage in mid-February.
Six-time Tony winner "Company: The Musical" will run from Feb. 16-March 3 in the theatre's BlackBox at 82 Gillis St.
"The iconic Broadway production promises to captivate audiences with its compelling storyline, unforgettable music, and dynamic performances," a Be Theatre release said.
The groundbreaking musical comedy with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth explores the complexities of modern relationships and marriage through the eyes of the charming, yet perpetually single, Bobby. Set in New York City, the show follows Bobby as he navigates the intricacies of love, commitment and the pursuit of happiness while surrounded by his married friends.
Through a series of vignettes, audiences will witness Bobby's introspective journey as he questions the nature of love and the meaning of companionship.
The local production will be directed by Mike Burnett with music directed by Dave Engleman.
