SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Brews, Ewes & BBQ Festival is coming back Saturday, March 2 to downtown San Angelo.
Beginning at 11 a.m. March 2, is the barbecue cookoff, showcasing brisket, pork ribs and chicken. The festival will also feature the highly-anticipated World Championship Lamb Cook-off, where teams will compete to create the most delicious lamb dishes.
The Kids Que Competition offers a unique opportunity for children between the ages of 6 and 18 to showcase culinary skills. Whether they are competing for the title of best hamburger or best pork chop, this competition allows aspiring chefs to demonstrate their creativity and talent.
Across the river near the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, 1 Love St., food vendors, craft vendors and brew vendors will be set up for a vendor fair offering a wide variety of street food and artisanal crafts. Craft vendors will showcase unique handmade products ranging from jewelry to home décor. The brew vendors will offer a selection of locally-brewed beers and ciders.
Live local performances will showcase talent and culture of the community for attendees.
