COSA offices will be closed Thursday-Friday for Thanksgiving holiday

There will be no trash service Thursday and the City's landfill will be closed.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — To observe the Thanksgiving holiday, City of San Angelo offices will be closed Nov. 28-29.

There will be no trash pickup and the landfill will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Thursday and Friday’s trash services will be delayed by one day. Landfill hours will resume Friday.

Fort Concho National Historic Landmark will be closed Thanksgiving Day. The fort, including the Barracks 1 Visitor Center, 630 S. Oakes St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, for self-guided tours. The fort will be open during its normal weekend hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.

WIC offices will be closed Nov. 27-29.

Other City operations that will be closed Nov. 28-29: the water billing offices, Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, the Parks and Recreation offices, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, the McNease Convention Center, the Health Department, Fairmount Cemetery’s business officesMunicipal Court and the Animal Shelter.

COSA offices will reopen Monday, Dec. 2.
