SAN ANGELO, Texas — The driver of an SUV was taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center after a crash with a pickup truck in the 1900 block of West Beauregard Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
San Angelo Police Department Motors Officer Younts said the woman driving the SUV pulled out of the Shipping Point parking lot and was turning east on West Beauregard. A pickup truck driver was headed west on Beauregard at the same time.
"The Nissan (SUV) Murano just failed to yield the right of way from a private drive and was hit in that left passenger area and the driver door and the passenger back door, as well," Younts said.
The SUV driver will be cited for failure to yield the right of way from a private drive.
