SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Kappa Sigma fraternity at Angelo State University is hosting a barbecue plate fundraiser for its Military Heroes Campaign this weekend and is taking orders through the end of Friday.
Food plates with brisket, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and bread, will be served or delivered starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.
Kappa Sigma will deliver plates to any location in San Angelo for a $5 delivery charge, or plates can be picked up at the ASU Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.
Want to donate, but don't want a plate? Kappa Sigma members can accept donations and give the plates to people in need, such as the homeless.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the campaign to help support ongoing care for military veterans and their families.
