SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce is honoring the late Laura Lee Lewis with a commemorative t-shirt.
Lewis worked for the Chamber as the membership coordinator, then the vice president of member relations before moving on to become the San Angelo district director for State Sen. Charles Perry. She died suddenly Nov. 28.
The Chamber said on social media that the shirts commemorate her incredible impact on the community. The front of the shirt features a cardinal with "LLL" woven in and the back has the simple phrase, "be a Laura" and are available online through Gandy Ink.
All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will directly benefit the San Angelo Clubhouse, an organization close to her heart. She served on the Clubhouse's advisory council.
