SAN ANGELO, Texas — After a denial from the Public Art Commission to place a sheep in the former Wool Capitol of the World, PETA says its legal team has secured the placement of "E(n)d Shearin" at the San Angelo City Hall Annex, 301 W. Beauregard Ave.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals representatives will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon  Tuesday at the annex introducing the sheep, named after the singer, Ed Sheeran. The artwork was designed by New Yorker cartoonist Harry Bliss.

PETA says San Angelo has 110 sheep statues across the City, but none of them "tell the sheep's side of the story".
