The board will begin an immediate search for an interim manager and a new president and CEO to lead the museum successfully into the future.

“We wish Josefa well in her future endeavors,” board chair Heidi Brooks said. “As we conduct our searches, we’ll continue to serve as a strong catalyst for creativity and community and offer world-class programming and exhibitions for people of all ages in San Angelo and the Concho Valley. Our new From the Realms of Glory exhibition will feature a stunning selection of sacred art from Spanish Colonial and 19th century Latin America. It will be open to the public November 22 to January 19, 2025. Come see this amazing exhibition."
