City of San Angelo contractors upgrading water meters, testing service lines

COSA says crews will be working in the street right-of-ways in front of homes and businesses, and occasionally in alley right-of-ways, depending on meter locations.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Contractors for the City of San Angelo started upgrading water meters and testing service lines throughout the community Tuesday.

Core & Main has been contracted by the City to complete the upgrades and testing services. Crews will consist of eight-12 employees primarily working in the street right-of-way in front of homes and businesses and may occasionally be in the alley right-of way, depending on water meter locations.

Vehicles are not be marked with a decal until next week, but all employees will be wearing a Core & Main hat and will have gray uniform shirts next week.
