City of San Angelo offices closed for Thanksgiving holiday

There is no trash pickup Thursday and the City landfill will be closed. Trash service will be delayed by one day.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — City of San Angelo offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23-24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

A COSA press release said there is no trash pickup Thursday and the City landfill will be closed. Trash services will be delayed by one day; trash pickup and landfill hours will resume Friday.

Fort Concho National Historic Landmark is closed Thanksgiving Day. The fort, including the Barracks 1 Visitor Center, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, for self-guided tours. The fort will be open its normal weekend hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26.

Women Infant and Children (WIC) offices will be closed Nov. 22-Nov. 24.

Other City operations closed Nov. 23-24 include the water billing offices, Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, the Parks and Recreation offices, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, the McNease Convention Center, the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, Fairmount Cemetery’s business officesMunicipal Court and the San Angelo Animal Shelter. 

COSA offices will reopen Monday, Nov. 27.
