Two San Angelo PD lieutenants promoted to assistant police chiefs

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two San Angelo Police Department lieutenants, Adam Scott and Craig Thomason, have been promoted to assistant police chiefs by newly-elected Chief Travis Griffith.

The department shared photos of the promotion ceremony on its Facebook page Monday afternoon.

The post said, "We're thrilled to announce the promotion of two exemplary lieutenants (Adam Scott and Craig Thomason) to the esteemed rank of Assistant Chief! Their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our community have been truly inspiring. 

Join us in congratulating these outstanding leaders as they step into their new roles, continuing to make San Angelo a safer and better place for all."

According to the SAPD's website, Scott joined the department in 2004 and Thomason has been with the SAPD since 2008.
